What Is Swyx?
Swyx is one of Europe's leading IP telephony providers, with offices all across the continent. Providing an incredibly flexible and efficient service, Swyx have become known as one of the most advanced software-based IP telephone systems in the World.
So what are the benefits of the Swyx phone system?
Firstly, utilising one of these systems will allow you integrate your phones with your computers; something that isn't possible with traditional phone-line setups. It also allows you to work remotely, accessing your phone from your computer, regardless of where you are. This allows you to work anywhere, whilst always being contactable from a landline number. You can even integrate the line with your mobile phone, so you'll never have to miss an important call again.
You can even make calls completely free of charge via a peer-2-peer system (i.e. to other VoIP users), as well as free conference calls and extremely sophisticated call-routing, hold and transferring capabilities. The integration with computers means you can even see which of your staff are available or currently on a call, meaning you can cut out wasted call time.
You can also take advantage of Sywx IT, which is a computer app designed to run alongside the Swyx sytems and allows you to dial a number from any Windows-based application. You can dial from Outlook, Office, Internet Explorer and a myriad of other applications, giving you a much higher level of control over your telephone systems.
Another huge benefit associated with the Swyx system is that they're based and run from a Windows server, allowing you to get your own IT staff to install and administer it. This means you can cut down the cost of installation and general maintenace, making Swyx the most affordable system available, with only one major competitor, Avaya IP office.
As well as the telephone systems, Swyx also has a range of bespoke handsets and headsets, as well as a dedicated Swyx Mobile device, which allows you integrate mobiles into the Swyx system. This means you can transfer, forward and record calls from your mobile, choose to receive calls from specific people on your mobile or work phone and even allow colleagues to see who you're on the phone to.
What is a good plan to have with Verizon including fax phone line, office phone line, long distance, internet?
I've had verizon for 3 years, we have an office phone line, a separate fax line, high speed internet, and I believe that at the moment I do not have long distance in the plan. Although, we do have it available, but don't have a package since we don't use it that often maybe once a month. I feel that I am paying too much. The bill comes out for 193! Is that okay for having all those details, or should I be able to get it cheaper?
It shows that I am getting charged $63 for "CustoPak measured line-3 year term" along with "CustoPak Interstate SLC"
Then $18 for voice msg, for one year, along with caller ID, which that part we do like.
High speed Internet is 21.99
Then it says we have high speed internet for business, with the bundle discount its 53.99
Plus the long distance calls like in the next city are .13 per minute.
Does everything sound okay? Or am I getting charged too much?
Ask for a bundle deal- check to see if FiOS Business is available in your area. It's a limited roll out across the nation so it might not be in your town yet.
Ask about the Freedom plans - just call the business center and tell them you don't think you're getting the best deal for your money - what can they do - and specify the range you'd like to stay in.
